Cultivate Festival

A brand new free music & food festival in Golden Gate Park | Saturday
By - posted 6/6/2013 No Comment

Like live music and (somewhat) affordable food? Then join 15,000+ in Golden Gate Park for a free one-day food, music and beer festival with cooking demonstrations by celebrity chefs, live music, local food artisans, regional beer and wines, a special Chipotle festival menu.

The musical lineup features an excellent lineup of indie pop-rockers including Mayer Hawthorne (6:15p), The Walkmen (4:45p), Walk the Moon (3:15p), LP (1:45p), and Matt Costa (12:15p).

It’s all part of Chipotle’s charm offensive to help grease the wheels and make SF more accepting of their plans of opening up a store in the Castro.

In addition to live music and on-site chef demonstrations, there are six interactive experiences focused on sustainable food. There’s an Artisans’ Hall serving up local artisan-crafted food for free sampling (and for purchase)  a Brewers’ Hall serving local and specialty beers and wines.
