Watch home-made derby cars race down the 400 foot straightaway along 20th Avenue between Wawona and Vicente during the second annual Soapbox Derby & Block Party hosted by The Friends of Larsen Playground from 11 am to 4 pm on Sunday, October 26, 2014.

This is an “open” exhibition. All cars are welcome, but they must have brakes. In addition to the soap box races, there will be classic cars, food trucks and games. Build and enter a car ($20 registration), cheer one on, volunteer for the day, or just come by and have fun.
