If you’re on a space ship and you start getting mysterious distress signals from another craft, whatever you do, don’t check it out, it’s probably an Alien. Too bad Sigourney Weaver missed this memo in Ridley Scott’s sci-fi thriller classic Alien playing at midnight the Clay Theatre, she could have saved herself a lot of heartache, and wouldn’t have had to worry about the best way to get human chest chunks out of your hair and space suit.
If you like Alien, you might want to check out the brand new documentary Dark Star about surrealist artist H. R. Giger who terrified audiences with Alien’s Oscar-winning monsters.
