Piedmont (a small affluent city completely surrounded by Oakland) hosts their 47th Annual 4th of July Parade on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at 11 am.
The highlight of this small town parade is a contingent of adorable doggies: westies and scotties and their people marching, skipping and sashaying from Highland Avenue and Park Way all the way to Piedmont Park where the parade ends a giant community picnic with music provided by Big Bang Beat.
