Event Details

One of our favorite quirky little art spaces in SF has a brand new Hobbit-themed exhibit called “The Hobbit Hole” with strange live music performances and tasty chowder tastings.

Eurostache and Chowder
Saturday, Mar 10, 2:30 pm
Our first Hobbit Hole performer, Eurostache, will electro-acoustically combine the sounds of underground machinery with the earth’s magnetic field for the amusement of the hobbitses.  Afterward, Amy Hougen will serve up chalices of chowder.  Folks will also be able to mine breads out of the breadcave.  Remember cloaks are required, and the only beer we allow is root beer.

This is a true slice of fun artsy-fartsy San Francisco where you help create the exhibits which range from ketchup & mustard portraits, poetry in a can, pegacorn heavy metal concerts and more perfectly San Francentric weirdness.

The Frankenart Mart was recently featured in the San Francisco Chronicle for their strange and innovative participatory living art event “Bigfoot in the Park.”
