Cancelled: Free Circus Class: Learn Juggling & Tightrope Walking | SF

Please note that the Wednesday Circus Skills Jam is no longer taking placer, but joint them on Fridays.

Come and play with all the fun circus toys that fit under the Circus Center‘s roof every Friday and Wednesday.

Circus Skills Jam Class
Most Fridays and Wednesdays | 7-9 pm
Circus Center,  755 Frederick St, San Francisco
Free, but an RSVP is required; class has a 25 person maximum. Please make sure to check-in before 6:45 pm.

Age limits: The Wednesday classes are for ages 16 and up, and Friday classes are for ages 8 and up. Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by parents. All participants under the age of 18 need to have a liability waiver signed by a guardian.

This class is open to everyone at no charge and no experience is necessary. Every week is different, but you may learn how to ride a unicycle, juggle, play on a balance board, use devil sticks, or walk a tightrope.

They have equipment for learning and practicing unicycle, acrobatics, slapstick, rola bola, juggling (balls and clubs), equilibristics, plate manipulation, cigar box juggling, and tightrope.

Audrey and diablo expert Oscar Velarde are trained in a number of circus skills and those who come are always willing to share expertise, props, and another pair of hands for some club passing. It’s a chance to come and practice an existing skill or work on a new one in a safe, supportive and playful environment.

Please note, late-comers will find the doors locked, so please arrive early.
