Free Holiday Snow Park 2012 | Civic Center

Free Holiday Snow Park 2012 | Civic CenterIt’s winter, so it must be time for snow in San Francisco, right?

Kids can sled down a big snow hill as Mayor Ed Lee hosts the 3rd Annual Free Holiday Snow Park in front of city hall with tons of snow on Saturday & Sunday, December 15 & 16, 2012.

From our understanding the snow runs are only open for children, but it still sounds awfully beautiful to see City Hall surrounded in snow.

>> Is this Event Taking Place for 2012?: Although we have not yet seen the 2012 details “officially” released, we spoke to a contact at City Hall on Wednesday who confirmed the snow days for December 15 & 16. But we’re a bit surprised that the info is still not publicly announced.

Also we do not know if rain will cancel or postpone this event - so we recommend you contact the Mayor’s office if you have questions before attending. http://www.sfmayor.org/index.aspx?page=648
