Haight-Ashbury: A Musical Trip of the ’60s | Wild SF Tour
The quirky, hip historians at Wild SF Tours invite you for an unforgettable through the Hippie heyday of the Haight-Ashbury every Monday morning at 11 am.
Armed with a mini-guitar, your witty troubadour and historian-guide shares tales of Janis Joplin, the Grateful Dead, Hell’s Angels, the Diggers, Ken Kesey’s Acid Tests, the Summer of Love, and the psychedelic substances that rocked a conservative America into a technicolor wonderland.
Free, but reservations are required. The tour is technically pay-what-you-wish, with a suggested donation $10-$18 per person. There is a limited number of tickets, so reserve yours soon.
