Marguerite Maze Middle School | 900 Meridian Street, Hollister, CA
The historic town of Hollister celebrates the Fourth of July every year with festivities for the whole family all day long, and a fireworks spectacular at night around 9:30pm.
Although they couldn’t confirm this event through the city, according to the website for 2016 the Independence Day Kiddie Parade starts at 10 am. It marches down Memorial Drive, between Hillcrest Road and Meridian Street, to Marguerite Maze School. Children of all ages are welcome to participate: walk, ride, roller skate or roller blade.
“Kids” will receive flags prior to the parade as well as cookies and punch after the program at Maze Middle School.
Make sure to check out the Community Fireworks Display. The 2016 community fireworks display will be held at the Hollister Municipal Airport beginning at 9:30 pm. Limited seating will be available on the Airport ramp from the San Felipe Road entrance.
