Stop by the CUESA Classroom for a cooking demo featuring the seasonal bounty of the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market.
Executive Chef Alan Jackson is the founder and vision behind Lemonade restaurant, the hugely popular group of California based fast-casual restaurants known for its unique and seasonally changing menu. Chef Jackson gets back to basics enticing Californians with the simple allure of beautifully prepared salads, hearty braised meats, satisfying sandwiches, decadent desserts, and of course, thirst-quenching lemonades.
Alan Jackson recently released The Lemonade Cookbook (St. Martin’s Press). With an emphasis on “eating colorfully” and a strong value in cooking skills, Jackson shares not only his famous recipes, but also a love of California. Jackson resides with his wife and two daughters in “the Valley”.
All demos take place in the CUESA Classroom (under the white tents in front of the Ferry Building) and are free to the public, with recipes and samples for all.
