SPCA “Adoptathon” Weekend: Free Doggie & Cat Adoptions | SF

Join the SF SPCA for an artsy-themed cocktail party and adoptathon weekend based on the 2010 movie “Exit Through the Gift Shop,” which focused on the world’s most infamous graffiti artists.

Adult animals (6+ months) will be free to adopt all weekend, October 13 – 15, at both SF SPCA locations in the Mission and Pacific Heights.

At their last adoption event 104 animals found new homes – the most ever in a single day in San Francisco.

SPCA “Adoptathon” Weekend
October 13-15, 2017
San Francisco SPCA, 201 Alabama St, SF
FREE (RSVP is required for the Cocktail Party on 10/13)

The weekend will kick off with a Friday evening cocktail party at the SF SPCA’s Mission Campus at 6 pm. The work of noted artists will be featured throughout the adoption center – including Peter Samuels, Rick Begneaud, and JD Wilson – and San Francisco’s finest tattoo artists will be on hand for those who want more permanent art (first come, first served.)

Guests will also have the opportunity to paint their pet (pre-registration required), screen print a limited edition t-shirt, check out the new Petcube Bites camera at the Petcube Lounge, and pop by to see Macy’s make-up and brow stylists before snapping photo booth pictures.

Open and top shelf bars will be available, along with vegetarian food trucks and sweet treats from Smitten Ice Cream.
