Phat Beets Produce and CrossRoads Collective Cafe are putting together Green the Block, an MLK Jr. Day of Service event on Monday, January 21, 2013 from noon to 3pm, and they’ll have some tasty treats from CrossRoads Collective Cafe for their volunteers as well.

Come by CrossRoads Collective (942 Stanford Ave. at Lowell St in North Oakland) to meet your neighbors and help install planter boxes and benches on the corner of Stanford and Lowell in North Oakland.
