Jill Katz leads you on a fun urban hike beginning in Cole Valley on the corner of Parnassus and Willard Street and ending with a well deserved beer.
Urban Hike Day: 2 Peaks, 2 Parks & Some Pints

Meet at Parnassus & Willard, San Francisco, CA

Hike into Mt Sutro Forest (find the fairy gates) cross Claredon Avenue to Twin Peaks Reservoir and Mt Sutro Tower toward top of Twin Peaks Summit (usually very windy but an amazing view of the entire city). You will hike both peaks of the Twins. You will then cross Portola and hike down through Glen Park Canyon. You will end at the Glen Park Station pub.
This is an A-B think about that in terms of transportation. Please, no dogs. Bring cash for beer.
