Indian Holi Festival 2013: Colorful Powder, Food & Dancing | SunnyvaleThe colorful and fun-filled Indian Spring Festival – Holi (Festival of Colors) will be celebrated at the Sunnyvale Hindu Temple on the last full moon day of the Indian calendar year on March 30, 2013.

$7 donation includes free food, drinks, colorful powder, dance instruction and music. Free for children under five.

At the Sunnyvale Temple, the event starts by welcoming everyone with a “Thandai” (cold drink) at 11am, followed by Raas Rang colorful powder throwing until 1:30pm. A DJ continues to play all the popular numbers related to the festival and they have dance instructors to guide groups to enjoy their dancing that extra bit. Food will be served from 1:30-2:30pm.

Free parking is provided at NetApp campus and free shuttles are run from NetApp Campus to Sunnyvale Temple.
