Event Details

Join JDC Entwine and other young professionals in the Bay Area for an in-depth look at the Shanghai Ghetto during WWII and the Jewish community of Shanghai today.

Free, but an RSVP is required

The event will feature:

  • A photo exhibit from the JDC Archives
  • Discussion with Deborah Strobin, author of “An Uncommon Journey” and a resident of Shanghai Ghetto during WWII.
  • Complimentary vegetarian appetizers & drinks (The first 100 people receive a free drink).

This JDC Entwine event is planned by The Entwine San Francisco Planning Group for a young professional audience. Their Insider Trips are designed exclusively for young professionals who are interested in Global Jewish needs and issues, and is first and foremost about learning about these issues as well as the broader work of the JDC. These events are designed with an eye towards the interests of this specific demographic.
