Dog Training Seminar | Mission Dist.

Muttville is hosts a training seminar series for dog owners, adopters, and fosters led by a volunteer staff of trainers in the Bay Area.

There is no fee for the seminars, but donations are greatly appreciated. Muttville is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating better lives for older dogs through rescue, foster, adoption, and hospice.

Training Basics | Dog Training Seminar | Mission Dist.

In the first Muttville seminar on July, 20 2013, you’ll learn how to effectively train dogs, covering topics from house-training to basic obedience to addressing common behavior problems like barking and resource guarding. They will also show how to navigate common training trouble spots.

Free, but an RSVP is required.

The instructor, Maureen Backman, MS, owns Mutt About Town, a dog training business that serving San Francisco and the Bay Area, and is affiliated with Jean Donaldson’s prestigious Academy for Dog Trainers. She is also a member of the Pet Professional Guild and the Association for Pet Dog Trainers.
