Join the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy and National Park Service for National Trails Day on June 3rd. Celebrated on the first Saturday in June every year, National Trails Day is the nation’s largest celebration of trails.
At Golden Gate, park teams and their partners, One Tam, REI, and American Hiking Society, will host a series of trail and habitat restoration projects throughout the park (Marin, San Mateo, and San Francisco). Help improve the trails and habitats, meet fellow park lovers, and enjoy a celebration of the great park.
Lend a helping at Lands End in celebration of National Trails Day. The focus for this will be restoring the dunes that line park trails and clearing vegetation from staircases. Lunch provided as well as raffle prizes courtesy of REI.
Free, but an RSVP is required.
