Event Details

Evictions, shutdowns, start-ups… Are you frustrated with the way that your city seems to be changing overnight? The Bay Area Society for Art & Activism brings you this vaudeville-style showcase that includes street vending, standup comedy, dance, and music, to mobilize and distill critical energy against the horrors of gentrification.

Dance away your sense of alienation, or buy a commemorative artisanal brick for mischief-making. The performance lineup will feature Leslie Dreyer, Nato Green, Jon Ginoli, GAYmous, Jocquese Whitfield, Chip Lord and Rene Yañez. As a group, the artists embody the spirit of early American vaudeville– to bring many disparate acts together for a common purpose.

It’s free, all ages, and open to the public.
