Event Details

This summer The Free Theater is collaborating with Shotgun Players’ Make a Difference Program to bring back the free park show at John Hinkel. This will be a festive event for the whole family: picnicking is encouraged.

The play is one of Shakespeare’s most wild and fun: Prince Hal’s journey from petty criminal to military hero unites kings, princes, thieves, magicians, drunkards, and peasants under the open sky in John Hinkel park. Actors will fight, sing, dance, climb, tumble, and clown, and audiences will eat, drink, laugh, and cry. Boring Shakespeare, this is not. Come prepared to be transported to a dangerously fun world…

  • Saturdays and Sundays, July 11-August 2 @ 4pm.

It can get chilly, so dress in layers. The amphitheater opens for seating starting at 3pm.
