What do you get when you mix half-Jewish comics with half-Arab comics? A whole lot of funny! (And world peace.) This hopelessly adulterated, shamelessly assimilated line up doesn’t keep kosher or halal. Instead of celebrating Ramadan or the High Holy Days, we celebrate Rama-whaaaat? and High Holy Whaaaaat? Rabbis and Imams weep when they scribble out our names from the Book of Life. And, not unlike lamb on a rotisserie, our desert ancestors are permanently spinning in their graves. So, of course, we’ve developed the ultimate defense: We are incredibly funny! Mentally, emotionally, or ethnically, are you a mixed-up mishmash too? Of course, you are! Come out and celebrate hybrid vigor, impure breeding, and even more impure thoughts at Planet Mirth’s first annual Semisemitextravaganza! Featuring:

• Matt Lieb, who has taken the San Francisco Bay Area comedy scene by storm, has performed with the likes of Brent Weinbach, Moshe Kasher, and W. Kamau Bell. 2015 marked his 5th year performing at SF Sketchfest.
• Molly Trad has been called “hilarious and seductive” by FCC Free Radio’s “Pick Me Up Radio,” and a performer “with walloping pathos” by the award-winning blog Courting Comedy. A comedian and community activist, she performs at the San Francisco Punchline and at bars and theaters around the SF Bay Area.
• Erik Krasner’s jittery stage presence, razor-sharp wit, and catalog of impossibly obscure references have been featured in SF Sketchfest, the Savage Henry Comedy Festival, and on San Francisco’s KOFY TV. He also produces standup shows in San Francisco and Oakland.
• Zack Chapaloni is a regular at the San Francisco Punchline and a co-producer of The Dirty Show.
• Joel Spears, who hosts the Ivy Room Open Microphone Comedy Expo in Albany and produces Joke Bonanza in Oakland, performs comedy throughout the Bay Area as well.
