“Rave in a Cave” at Ocean Beach | SF

Supposedly there’s going to be an unofficial Hardly Strictly Bluegrass afterparty “rave in a cave” with a 2,000 watt sound system with cool visuals in a yet-to-be-announced cave in San Francisco.

Is this event going to happen? Probably not, but 13k on Facebook seem to hope so (along with Live 105), but we have no idea. We’ve been to raves in the caves near Sutro Baths before and it’s been amazingly fun.

The cops like to shut these things down quickly, so make sure you Check Facebook first before attending just to get the final details and see if it’s still taking place, if it’s moved dates/locations, or if everyone who’s not already “in the know” is told to f*ck off.

Aren’t these raves supposed to be “secret?” – The cat’s long since been out of the bag about cave raves in SF – ravers, DJs, ‘tards, cops… everyone already knows. The secret wasn’t blown when this Facebook post was set to public. It wasn’t blown when Live 105 wrote about it. The “secret” of these cave raves hasn’t been a secret for a long time…

DJ Deja Vu will be spinning the good stuff all night (or until we get shut down) through our 2000W sound system, with projected visuals and black light art by India Block.

BYO everything. Bring something cool to share! Your dusty costumes, your blinky LEDs, your fire poi, whatever gets you goin.
