>> Want to see our Top Picks for this week instead?
San Francisco City Hall | 1 Dr. Carlton Goodlett Pl., San Francisco, CA
Due to the Giants World Series Celebration, the City Hall Ghost Walk has been canceled for 2012.
Disinterred remains, assassinations and other ghostly lore form the focus of this tour, plus little-known facts such as the cemetery that once covered Civic Center. Hear snippets from interviews with city employees that detail chilling paranormal activity.
This free spooky tour is only offered once a year. Meet in South Light Court, through the Polk St. entrance at 6:30 PM on October 31, 2012. (Allow time for security checks. Travel lightly – full security, including bag searches, will be in effect.)
About the Ghost Tour:
City Hall guide Rob Spoor started doing the ghost tour after many years of hosting regular City Hall tours, and hearing time after time, spooked stories from the night watchmen, deputy sheriffs, and maintenance workers of City Hall. He decided to throw out all that boring architecture mumbo-jumbo, dim the lights, and tell stories of regular people experiencing scary things. ~ SF Appeal
