Event Details

Taking over four blocks of the Historic Old Oakland District, the Beer Festival will feature beer tastings, live music showcasing local bands, delicious eats from neighborhood restaurants, a parklet, free bike parking, and other family friendly activities.

This event was created by the founders of Pacific Coast Brewing Company to celebrate Oakland’s burgeoning beer community.

The beer tasting works as follows:

PRICING:

  • Commemorative glass for $5
  • One glass + five beer tasting tickets for $20
  • Extra beer tasting tickets: 6 for $20

Sample some of California’s finest Anniversary Ales from the following breweries:

  • BEAR REPUBLIC from Healdsburg
  • DRAKE’S from San Leandro
  • SPEAKEASY from San Francisco
  • LOST COAST from Eureka
  • STONE from Escondido
  • RUBICON from Sacramento
  • PORT from San Marcos
  • SUDWERKS from Davis
  • SIERRA NEVADA from Chico
  • and PACIFIC COAST from Oakland

There will also be free live music from: Damon and the Heathens and the Funk Revival Orchestra.

Pacific Coast Brewing Company continues to be Oakland’s only brew pub and is revered for its full-bodied and handcrafted beers that have been winning awards since the brewery’s inception in 1988. This event is in honor of their own 22nd Anniversary.
