Ocean Beach (Taraval St) | Great Hwy & Taraval St, San Francisco, CA
Trash can be deadly to ocean life. Birds, fish, seals, dolphins, turtles and other marine creatures often perish after ingesting or becoming entangled in man-made debris, so let’s spend an hour or two and clean up our little stretch of coast.
Meet on the steps at the end of Taraval at noon. You’ll pick up trash along 1.5 miles of Ocean Beach. Bags and gloves will be provided. Afterwards, the group will head to Park Chalet so bring some money for snacks and drinks. Heavy rain cancels.
