Kick off the 2014 Independence Day season with soccer and a post-game fireworks show at the San Jose Earthquakes’ match against the Los Angeles Galaxy for the California Clasico at Stanford Stadium on Saturday, June 28, 2014.
The game will start at 7:30 pm. You’ll need to purchase a ticket to see the game, but you can watch the fireworks for free outside the stadium, if you’re near Stanford.
For 2014, along with the match, the club will produce a special World Cup themed halftime show and will treat fans to the largest fireworks show in the Bay Area with a 15-minute synchronized performance after the final whistle, courtesy of Pyro Spectaculars by Souza, Inc..
Patrick Roberge Productions is back to produce their third-straight halftime show for the California Clasico at Stanford Stadium. The creators of the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2010 Vancouver Olympics will put together another patriotic show. This year’s edition will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the 1994 FIFA World Cup match between the United States and Brazil at Stanford Stadium.
Individual tickets start at $23. Family packs are also available. Please note, this match has sold out the last two years with crowds of over 50,000. Buy tickets early if you plan on attending.
