Friday, July 4, 2014 - 9:30 pm | Cost: FREE
Discovery Meadow | 180 Woz Way, San Jose, CA

For the first time in years, downtown San Jose will see a world class fireworks show on July 4, 2014.

The Rotary Club of San Jose invites everyone to Discovery Park as they light up the night sky with Mix 106.5 simulcasting and broadcasting live from the event. This is a free, family-friendly event, and seating is on a first-come basis.

The fireworks will be launched from behind the Children’s Discovery Museum at approximately 9:30 pm. The meadow area between the museum and W. San Carlos Street will be open to the public.

Restrooms and a great view will be provided on site. They anticipate large crowds; therefore, we strongly encourage you to ride public transit. Consider VTA Light Rail or bus service, or ride your bikes with night safety gear ready, or if you must drive, please carpool.

The Rotary Club is celebrating 100 years of service in San Jose and the fireworks show is their gift to the city in 2014. Unfortunately, they do not plan on continuing this in the future.
