Strutting horse-drawn carriages, crafts people displaying their wares for sale, Father Christmas and more are highlights of the Annual Holiday Tree Lighting & Dickens Holiday Open House in Historic Downtown Saratoga Village on Big Basin Way.
2014 Holiday Tree Lighting & Dickens Holiday Open House

5:30 pm: Tree Lighting Ceremony
Join the Annual Tree Lighting ceremony in Blaney Plaza with performance and sing-a-long; and a holiday message from the Mayor.
6 to 8 pm: Ride a horse-drawn carriage for free (first come, first served), hear the wide selection of street musicians, meet Father Christmas, play in the holiday-themed bounce house, shop in Saratoga boutiques, and enjoy the carolers and Dickens-inspired attire of residents and volunteers.
Also, at the Saratoga History Museum (20450 Saratoga-Los Gatos Road):
6 to 8 pm: Live music, special free holiday exhibit, Saratoga-themed gift book and card selection, bring an unwrapped toy for the toy drive, and enjoy light refreshments – all for free.
