2012 Holiday Tree Lighting: Santa, Snow & Free Carriage Rides | Saratoga

Snow machines, strutting horse-drawn carriages, crafts people, Santa Claus and more are highlights of the annual Holiday Tree Lighting & Wine Stroll on November 23, 2012 in the Saratoga Village on Big Basin Way.
The tree lighting ceremony will start at 5:30pm in Blarney Plaza. There will be free horse-drawn carriage rides, photos with Santa, a petting zoo, Christmas karaoke, card making for soldiers in the VA hospital, hot cider and cookies at the Fire Station, plus music and carolers throughout the evening.
Walk down to the Saratoga Historical Park to the Saratoga History Museum offering a free special holiday exhibit, “Santa’s Workshop—Remembering Favorite Toys,” live music, light refreshments and the opportunity to visit Santa Claus who will be at the Museum supervising his workshop. Both the Museum and the historic McWilliams House will be decorated in period style for Christmas.
Bring an unwrapped toy to donate for the Sacred Heart Community Service for children in need.
