Author and historian Judy Yung reveals an insider’s view to San Francisco’s Chinatown in this newly revised edition of San Francisco’s Chinatown from Arcadia Publishing’s Images of America series.

Learn how and why Chinatown, designated as one of the Top Ten Great Neighborhoods in America, has always existed simultaneously as an immigrant gateway, residential neighborhood, tourist attraction, and cultural touchstone for generations of Chinese Americans.
