Sunday Assembly: Communty Sing & Meetup | Berkeley
Sunday Assembly is a non-religious congregation that celebrates life. They’ve got the best parts of a church – community, singing, and acts of service – without any of the religious dogma.
They typically meet on the third Sunday of the month to sing, think, listen, laugh, and build community together. They feature speakers from the local science and humanities communities, and they typically offer a way to donate to a local organization.
The Sunday Assembly is a godless congregation started in 2012 by two comedians and performers in England. It is a growing global network of people with the motto to “Live Better. Help Often. Wonder More.”

In this season of giving, their speaker this month is Pamela Hawley, founder and CEO of UniversalGiving®.
Pamela will be talking to you about how to turn an event into your story and the calling of your life. Pamela was touched by impoverished children she saw on a family trip to Latin America when she was 12. This event sparked a lifelong dedication to service and inspired the founding of UniversalGiving®.
