Event Details

Three Twins Ice Cream invites all ice cream lovers to join in celebrating the triumphant return of the neighborhood scoop shop at 3 pm on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, after a devastating fire destroyed the storefront two years ago.

Three Twins Ice Cream Shop Grand Re-Opening
March 11, 2014 | 3pm
Three Twins, 254 Fillmore at Haight (Lower Haight)
FREE Samples

Three Twins Founder, Neal Gottlieb and a representative from the Mayor’s office will be commemorating the event with a giant scoop, as opposed to a ribbon cutting. And you’ll be able to help them finish the giant scoop when with free tastings.

Try Three New Flavors: Ice cream fans will also have a chance to indulge in the new flavors for 2014 including Brownie Batter Chunk, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Land of Milk and Honey.

Ice cream samples are always free, just don’t take advantage of it, of course. If you’re on a budget, order a “teensy” cone – it’s still a pretty decent size.

Is your name “Ed Lee?” Free Ice Cream for you!
The mayor had to cancel being at this grand re-opening, so if you can prove that your name is Ed Lee (any Ed Lee will do) then you’ll get three free pints of ice cream if you show up at the grand reopening at 3pm.
