Join the Richmond Art Center in celebrating Earth Day at the Upcycle Maker Festival, a free festival for the whole family to create, see and learn about the art of using recycled materials in the creative process.

Upcycling workstations will feature hands-on activities that creatively re-use materials otherwise headed for the landfill. Learn how to screen print patches, create colorful mosaics, make bags from old ties and denim, weave rag rugs and create metal objects or recycled jewelry.
