Vegan Hacker SF: Food Hacking Workshop
Please Note: Vegan Hacker SF is on hiatus as of 2/15/14. Do YOU want to organize Vegan Hacks? Get in touch with veganhackersf (at) gmail.com.
Kathryn and Maggie are huge nerds who like making food and want to share the love with everyone.
Most last Thursdays of the month, they pick a recipe to veganize and then meet up to share the whole process and hack together vegan recipes of dishes that have no business being vegan like corn dogs, fondue, even Twinkies; the dish changes every month.

On Thursday, July 25, 2013, Vegan Hacker wants to make the easiest and most summer-friendly meal that has ever existed: vegan sushi.
They know that there are people who have devoted their careers to making perfect, fancy sushi. That’s totally amazing, but July’s Vegan Hacker isn’t about that— though fancy sushi chefs are welcome.
No clue how to turn some sheets of nori and a pot of rice into sushi rolls? They’ll show you how to do it— with a plastic bag. No fancy tools needed.
