Downtown Novato | Redwood Blvd & Grant Ave Novato, CA 94945
Early in the morning on July 4, 2012, crowds line Novato’s Grant Avenue where the parade begins in the city’s Old Town district. Parade-goers arrive early to watch the pageant of classic cars and color guards, festive floats and music bands, fancy cowgirls on golden palominos, and—Sherman tanks.
The parade is famous for its contingent of vintage military vehicles from the Joe Garbarino World War II Military Vehicle Museum.
The parade begins at 10:00 AM. Pre-parade entertainment from street performers will start at 9:00 AM.

8 a.m.: 5th Annual 4th of July Races
7-10 a.m.: 59th Annual Presbyterian Church Buckaroo Breakfast (1010 Grant Ave.)
9-9:45 a.m.: Pre-parade entertainment (People of Note, Banjo Dave Marty, Abe van der Meule & more)
10a.m.-12p.m.: Parade
