The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and the Bears of San Francisco invite you to celebrate “A Fair For Every Bear” on Saturday, October 17, 2026! We’re bringing back favorites including the Deadlift Contest, Full Queer Wrestling, and XL Art Gallery, plus plenty of new attractions.
Set in San Francisco’s Leather and LGBTQ Cultural District in SoMa, Bearrison Street Fair is an inclusive event for adult members of the LGBTQ+ community, promoting body positivity and cultural diversity while fostering a supportive and welcoming bear scene.

Full Queer Wrestling
We’re thrilled to have Full Queer Wrestling back at Bearrison for 2026! Catch the action throughout the afternoon.
2026 Schedule: 12–1PM, 2–3PM, 4–5PM
Barbells, Bears & Butts Deadlift Competition
Get ready for one of Bearrison’s signature spectacles as the Barbells, Bears & Butts Deadlift Competition returns. The competition welcomes all genders and body types, with competitors choosing between 135, 225, or 315 pounds depending on their strength and experience.
Round 1 features the 135- and 225-pound bars, while Round 2 brings out the 315-pound bar. The lifter with the most reps wins $100 per round, with the Round 1 prize split between the winners of the two weight classes if both are represented.
And because this is Bearrison, there’s also an optional bare-butt contest with prizes.
The competition is hosted by Nicki Jizz, the reigning Drag Queen of the Year and five-time voted Best Drag Queen of the Bay Area. Jock straps, singlets and gay flair are encouraged, but competitors can wear whatever they’re comfortable lifting in. Belts and wrist straps are allowed, knee-high socks are required, and medical staff will be on site.

XL Art Gallery
The Bearrison Street Fair XL Art Gallery returns with a giant outdoor display of digitized artwork printed on 10-by-8-foot banners. The gallery showcases photography, digital art and digitized paintings from local and non-local artists, creating an immersive space celebrating bear and LGBTQ+ communities.
The Lone Star Corral
Head to the Lone Star Corral for even more entertainment, hosted in conjunction with the Imperial Court of San Francisco. The corral features a cabaret stage, mechanical bull, and beverages provided by the Lone Star Saloon.
