Warren Hellman Museum Week | 2013
It’s Hardly Strictly Bluegrass week, and so to celebrate, the Warren Hellman Museum (dedicated to the man who created and funded HSB) is open and free for seven straight days.
It’s a really wonderful tribute to Warren and the festival – three rooms, filled from floor to ceiling with HSB posters and artwork over the years, photo books, Warren’s banjo, photos of him, Wronglers’ artwork & memorabilia, festival video clips and music. It’s a fantastic tribute, and a bit moving especially since Warren passed away last year, but his legacy (and HSB lives on).
Typically, this free museum is only open one day a week (Wednesdays from 3-7 pm).
