The San Francisco Zine Fest is a free, annual celebration of small-press publishing from zines and comics to art books and beyond.

Over 200 small-press and DIY creators will be selling, trading, and otherwise sharing their work at the San Francisco County Fair Building in Golden Gate Park. There are tons of free workshops and panels and, as always, the show is free to attend.

15th Annual San Francisco Zine Fest

Come and celebrate their 15th year as they have got 220+ exhibitors with their brand-new zines, comics and more. There will be panels and events such as:

  • a special kid-friendly section on the show floor, right by the entrance
  • the SFZF Zine Library for your browsing, in a separate chill-friendly room
  • delicious food
  • exclusive 2016 t-shirts and posters, designed by Ajuan and Mari (for purchase)

Come early for a special mini-reading by SFZF special guest MariNaomi. She is the author of many shorter comics – all of which are or are soon to be critically acclaimed. She’s also the creator and curator of the Cartoonists of Color Database and the LGBTQ Comics Database. Stay after the reading to hang out with some of the Bay Area’s most talented creators and meet the team that makes the Zine Fest happen.
