Event Details

San Francisco Mix Tape Society Party. It’s like Secret Santa with music mixes.

“Under The Covers” is the theme of San Francisco Mix Tape Society‘s seventh music mix exchange and contest, open to the public and free to attend. It is dedicated to the art of making new friends and exchanging music mixes.

Assemble a mix according to the theme in any format, whether cassette, CD or USB. Mixes will be traded over the course of the evening through a spirited raffle. All attendees will be able to cast votes for the mixes with the best track listings and artwork, and all who bring a music mix will leave the event with a mix made by someone else.

Additionally, a Best Mix Tape prize winner will be selected by judges from mix tapes submitted in advance to the San Francisco Mix Tape Society website.

Do you like it old school? Attendees who bring a mix tape on cassette (yes a good old fashion cassette tape) get a free drink.
