100 Foot Tall Film Night | The Great Wall of Oakland

For special events, and on select first Fridays during Oakland Art Murmur, the Great Wall of Oakland, a 100 ′x 100′ projection installation, illuminates the Uptown District with cutting-edge motion art from around the world.

The Great Wall of Oakland is located at the corner of Broadway and West Grand Avenue in downtown Oakland.

The sun is setting earlier, which means the Wall is back for First Fridays starting October 3, 2014.

The Wall celebrates Street Art with live art by the Estria Foundation and projected works by Estria Foundation, Van Royko, Paul Trillo, About Her Films, Blu and David Ellis, Ulterior Productions, Cyril Meroni, Gary Breslin, Multipraktik Collective, and Tomson.

In addition to the films, Mike “Bam” Tyau and Miguel “Bounce” Perez will be painting live across from the Wall.
