“100 Thousand Poets” Massive 3-Day Poetry, Music & Art Fest | Santa Rosa
Join the Arlene Francis Center for Spirit, Art & Politics in Santa Rosa for 100 Thousand Poets, a three-day festival on September 27-29, 2013, celebrating solidarity for peace and sustainability through poetry, art, music, dance, workshops, raffles, food and drinks.

Saturday | “100 Thousand Poets” Massive 3-Day Poetry, Music & Art Fest | Santa RosaOn Saturday, September 28, 2013, march at noon at the Round Barn Park, head through downtown with a stop at Old Courthouse Square for some performances, stop at the steps to The Sonoma County Museum for a song from the Love Choir, and then end at the Arlene Francis Center.
After the Saturday march, there will be an evening of performances at the AFC which will feature:
- 4 pm: Upside Dance
- 5 pm: Amadou Camara
- 6:15 pm: Josh Windmiller
- 7-7:30 pm: James Itchitey
- 8:15 pm: Onye Onyemaechi and The Messengers
- 9:30 pm: Midnight Sun Massive
- 10:30 to closing: DJ Loisaida and DJ Broken Record Dance Carnival
Enjoy face painting with Sonya Warry, live painting, fire dancers, and an acoustic Chill Zone with Alex Shapiro in the classroom all night long.
