The 10,000 Buddha Relics Collection features thousands of gem-like relics of Shakyamuni Buddha, the historical founder of Buddhism, as well as his family members and close disciples. These precious crystals, believed to be found in the ashes of enlightened sages after cremation, are revered by many for their spiritual energy. Most of the relics in this collection come from countries like Myanmar, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam. This is the largest collection of relics in the United States, drawing thousands of visitors since 2013. Visitors often report feeling a deep sense of peace and bliss in the presence of the relics, making this an ideal setting for meditation.
This special exhibit was featured in Season 5, Episode 10 of the History Channel series “The UnXplained” with William Shatner.
