Come to Revolution Books to watch and discuss a talk by Raymond Lotta. In July, the Chinese Communist Party of China celebrated its 100th anniversary. Raymond Lotta wrote on revcom.us: “China’s Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party – Not the Party of Mao and Revolution…But of Counterrevolution and Capitalism-Imperialism.” This article addresses basic questions of why the current regime in China is thoroughly capitalist, and the Chinese Communist Party is a thoroughly capitalist party, how the Chinese revolution was overthrown, and what socialist society is and is not.
