Huey Lewis & the News were a San Francisco bar band that became one of America’s most popular ’80s bands of the with their straightforward rock & roll and a driving spirit with a dozen top-10 hits like “Heart and Soul”, “The Power of Love” and “I Want a New Drug.”
After starting out as an unsuccessful pop singer Joe Cocker found his niche singing rock and soul and hit number one in the U.K. with his version of the Beatles’ “A Little Help from My Friends.”
