Join for a guided tour through San Francisco Center for the Book’s 7,000 square foot facility, which includes a fully equipped letterpress printing studio, a large collection of wood and metal type, a bookbindery, and a gallery.

During the tour Studio Manager & Resident Artist Chad Johnson will provide a brief history about the evolution of letterpress printing and each participant will have a hands-on opportunity to pull a letterpress print on a Vandercook cylinder press.

Complementary refreshments will be provided and a San Francisco Center for the Book tote bag will given to each guest.
