“The coolest new music venue in SF’ – SFGate
If you like the songs of the original old school punk rock era ’77 – ’82 then this is your show. Most people can pull out their old records or go to youtube and listen to the songs but to hear them live is a whole different thing. Most of these songs have not been head live since the ’80’s or 90’s. All of the bands on the bill have their punk rock pedigrees in connection to those days playing The Mab, Temple Beautiful and CBGB’s etc. Special guest Jean Caffeine coming from Austin Tex will play songs and tell short stories of her youth in San Francisco during the pre and punk era that I speak. “Sadie Saturday Night” She was the drummer in SF’s first all woman punk rock band The Urge.
Featuring the bands:
- Temple Beautiful Band
- Jean Caffeine – drummer in SF’s first all woman punk rock band The Urge.
- Mike D & The Unholy Three
- Class Of ’77
- Linda Xyz Band
- The Nubs
- Plus Special Guests TBA
