2012 Election Series | SF Public Library

The San Francisco Public Library will host a series of election season talks, films and other events presented by the African American Interest Committee, League of Women Voters, and the Department of Elections at branches throughout San Francisco.

Movies include the classic Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, comedies Wag the Dog & Election, mockumentary Bob Roberts and others.

Comedy "Swing Vote" | 2012 Election Series | SF Public Library

The San Francisco Public Library presents an evening screening of the film Swing Vote, starring Kevin Costner, Paula Patton, Dennis Hopper, George Lopez, and more.

The Department of Elections will be here before the film to register voters for the upcoming presidential election – bring a friend and come on down for some election-season laughs.

The film will be shown in the Latino/Hispanic Room B at the SF Main Library.
