Banned Books Week 2014
Banned Books Week is the national book community’s annual celebration of the freedom to read and takes place from September 21-27, 2014.
Hundreds of libraries and bookstores around the country draw attention to the problem of censorship by mounting displays of challenged books and hosting a variety of events.
Join the Corte Madera Branch Library for Banned Book Week as they celebrate the freedom to read with some banned-book themed party games, prizes, and free ice cream sundaes.
Free, but an RSVP is required by calling 415-924-6444.
Please note, this event is geared towards teens, so grab your little brother/sister/nephew/niece/daughter/son and join the fun.
