2015 Summer Pops Free Music Festival | San Jose
Target Summer Pops is Symphony Silicon Valley‘s annual free music festival featuring a week of pop and classical music under the palm trees on the San Jose State University Green from July 26 – August 2, 2015.
Did we mention free ice cream? In 2015, the organizers will dish out free ice cream during the July 26 and August 2 concerts.
Concerts takes place at San Jose State University’s iconic Tower Lawn (located behind the MLK Library at 4th and San Fernando)
Grab the chance to see Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, the electrifying contemporary Swing Revival band perform a free concert.
From ’40s swing to Cab Calloway, boogie woogie to New Orleans blues, its rhythm section is beat only by its horns – or vice versa. “Go Daddy-O,” “Mr. Pinstripe Suit,” “The Jumpin’ Jive” and all your swing favorites to get you on your feet and dancing.
