A Look Back 2016: Art Showcase | Alameda

Join them on Friday The 13th at 7pm for a look back at 2016. It’s been a crazy year. Some ups and a lot of downs. Local artists plan on showing you the last year the best way they know how, through art.

Studio 23 has been hosting art meetups every month for the last 3 years all over Alameda and in the east bay. They have built a community of artists where everyone is welcome and the focus is always on creating.

They will be showcasing not only works that were created at Alameda Artist meetups but also displaying artworks by bay area artists created in or inspired by the year 2016 in general.

2016 was beautiful, heartbreaking, inspirational & turbulent. They will take an intimate look back into each artist’s past year and celebrate moving forward united into the new year 2017.
