Spend quality time together at the Palo Alto Art Center. Enriching art experiences for children and meaningful experiences for parents are offered through a variety of free family programs. Family Days provide festive afternoons of art-making fun for the whole family.
Join for a colorful spring celebration at the Palo Alto Art Center. Free afternoon of hands-on artmaking projects, a dance performance, story time, and a scavenger hunt. Activities are appropriate for ages five through adult.
2019 Spring Family Day
Sunday, March 24, 2019 | 2 pm-4:30 pm

FREESchedule Of Events:
- 2-4 p.m. Art Center Classrooms: Artmaking activities led by Art Center teaching artists. Projects include: Radiant Rainbows,
Spinning Swivels, and Terrific Tassels.- 2-4 p.m. Art Center Main Exhibition: Photography Scavenger Hunt with prizes!
- 2-4 p.m. The Rinconada Library: Find the book display on Color in the Rinconada Library (hint: check by the fireplace!) and pick up a bookmark.
- 2-4 p.m. Change the landscape with sidewalk chalk. The Art Center will provide supplies.
- 2:30 p.m. & 3:13 p.m. Art Center Meeting Room: Story time with Kitaabworld. Welcome spring and celebrate our colorful world.
- 3 p.m. & 4 p.m. Live performance with Stanford Bhangra. Come dance with this diverse collegiate group that performs a high energy traditional dance, with modern, bass-infused beats, originating from Punjab, India.
