Join us for a special day honoring the establishment of the Buffalo Soldiers in 1866 after the Union victory during the US Civil War. Union Square has a very long and esteemed history.
Few know our historical legacy of early California Pioneers of African Descent in the early days of the “Streets of San Francisco.” The First AME Zion Church utilized the blessing from Rev. Thomas Starr King to help galvanize the early interfaith based community throughout the Great State of California.
